Liberty x Nike ss12 - to die for

Dropping on April 2nd the first installement of the Nike Sportswear and Liberty of London collaboration includes covetable Nike running styles featuring Liberty’s “Lagos Laurel” print. Nike’s Cortez, Air Max One and the Nike Free 5.0 all get the treatment of one of Liberty’s most talked about prints.

In May the collection will be extended with the addition of three basketball styles: the Blazer, Hyperclave and Dunk Sky High WHICH I MUST HAAAAAAAAVE!!!!. The Dunk Sky High will feature a wedge heel inserted into the shoe.

The orgaznization of the event was great! I loved the show! The Furla collection for spring-summer 2012 is a rich travel diary filled with visual and tactile notes on the Mediterranean and Italian tradition. The colours of nature. The blue of the sky, the black and white of rocks and pebbles, the warm earth tones such as honey, red and yellow, with gold and silver accents.
The materials: bull hide, vintage-effect leather, coarse salt-and-pepper canvas, as well as reptile skin and materials of high-tech inspiration such as neoprene.

A natural, bright atmosphere in which the Candy Bag takes center stage with a series of special editions, including the highly distinctive rubber boston bag with python-print cowhide trim presented in a fresh, lively turquoise. This is what I got..

The first pieces that I bought yesterday evening at the Vip openning of H&M Bulgaria. A t-shirt Marni at H&M in aid of the Japanese red cross, sunglasses Marni at H&M, a pair of orange skinny trousers and some golden rings, absolutely satisfying for now. The atmosphere was crowded but cool, some champagne and food, nice music, great people, a good discount and lots of presents. I will definitely go back after the euphoria about the whole thing and buy some other stuff :-)
