Good music, good food and nice people - this is how I could describe in a few words the evening in which H&M opened a showroom in Bulgaria. Besides the design, the bright colors, the different materials and pieces from the spring '12 collection , the whole atmosphere was wonderful too. A lot of guest took part in the event - the whole bulgarian fashion elite was there, like fashion stylists, photographers, designers, journalists and bloggers, who have yet to experience the pleasure of working with the Swedish brand. I'm really glad I was invited too.

I had some favorite pieces like this awesome short neon dress, but I hope that a big part of the collection is yet to come so we all can't wait the opening of the first store in Bulgaria on the 10th ot March.
And I also really hope that the bulgarian customers will appreciate this brand.

These two watches feature the Hermès Arceau model’s signature asymmetrical lugs, however the the distinctive italic typeface of the Arceau hour-markers has vanished so as to give pride of place to the exceptional straw marquetry graving the dial.
Mass-coloured on the spot and then laid out flat to dry, the straw which is subjected to weather conditions, variations in humidity and various baths, never displays the exact same shades of colours. Its natural colours subtly illuminate the marquetry motifs. Split open with a thin blade and then manually flattened with a bone tool, the wisps are then cut up into various lengths. This calls for accurate gestures and considerable physical strength. Playing with the colours and the directions of the various wisps, the artisan assembles his motifs on a sheet of graph paper. Glued in much the same way as a leather book binding, the straw marquetry motif is then assembled on the watch dial.

UK's Brighton Beach, giant ice cream cones and sugar candy colours are just some of the highlights of Mulberry's ultra fun and delectable SS2012 ad campaign. Inspired by creative director Emma Hill’s memories of the English seasides of her childhood, an original pier against the backdrop of bright blue sky became the canvas for Mulberry latest campaign shoot. Tim Walker who shot the previous 2 campaigns helms the lens again with his surreal vision behind the camera. Giant ice cream cones and candy wrappers appear alongside models Frida Gustavsson and Lindsey Wixson, both wearing and carrying Mulberry very cheerful SS2012 ready to wear and coveted bags, creating an outstanding visual story.

Yellow and creamy colors are one of my favorite combinations! Great work.

It's good to be in Paris at this time of the year because of the interesting events happening all the time. This time Colette wins for the multiple installations of paper from Greg Lauren, from January 9.

The acclaimed artist will continue his ongoing exploration of perhttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifsonal identity and its relationship to clothing at the renowned fashion boutique in Paris. The installation serves to further define the evolution from paper sculptures based on iconic menswear garments, to wearable pieces, which make up the Greg Lauren Collection. Awesome, the prices also!
"Alteration at Colette", will consist of 14 standing paper sculptures, including, "The Marine", "Charcoal DB", "White DB Dinner Jacket" and "The Boxer." Collectively these pieces represent the classic male archetypes, most recognized by society. "For the installation, I have created sculptures with a greater sense of irony, such as Peacock" explains Lauren, "a three piece suit in white paper covered in multiple pocket squares and The Man of Steel, a classic peak lapel suit made entirely from vintage Superman comics."

Each sculpture is painstakingly hand-sewn using Japanese paper in true-to-scale uniforms, suits, shirts and shoes among other carefully crafted accessories. "Every piece is made with the same approach as if were done by a real tailor, seamstress and shoemaker..." Says Lauren. “I manipulate the paper medium to simulate various materials, such as wool, cotton and gabardine and create frayed edges, creases and folds to give visual authenticity to the garment."

"I’m a little shy about walking around my neighborhood wearing Brian Wood’s sweatshirt with the faces of born-in-Brooklyn legends, since I’m neither a Brooklyn native nor a legend. It makes me feel like I better do something great with my life if I’m going to cut it here. Biggie’s shoes are definitely too big for me to fill, and I did not even know that Michael Jordan was from here, which means Brooklyn birthed the best rapper and the best basketball player of all time. But I do feel a kinship with Lil Kim and Larry David, so that’s cool. I wouldn’t necessary want to model my life after Mike Tyson or ODB, but at least they are originals. Which is maybe the point: there’s not a single person on this sweater who isn’t a wild character in some way. Originality is definitely worth striving for in your own life. These Brown Leather & Suede Paneled Boots (approx. $658) are one the most interesting releases from Alexander McQueen’s latest footwear collection because of the contrasting color scheme. The dark brown leather on the bottom half of the shoe surrounds the upper half, which features off-white suede panels with light brown leather trim.

This morning I found something interesting and new for me about one of my favorite actors of all time. He speaks about his collection and sources of inspiration.

"In the creation of my collections I am inspired by the appearance of a bohemian of the new millen-nium. I thought it was necessary to update the figure of the bohemian but not in the traditional way, it was necessary to make it a cosmopolitan present and fully engaged in the technological world we live in today.
Technobohemian is a phrase I read in a yet unpublished Italian novel. I lift it with the author’s per-mission and I will endevour to use it well.
I personally design everything starting from sketches to the choice of fabrics which, with my Italian team, we pay particular attention, to their quality and expression.
The production of garments is entirely made in Italy, except for the denim which comes from Japan.
Technobohemian
I have always cultivated interest in fashion and I always loved it, I like the design, I like the details and for me it is simply another form of self-expression. Style is important. I try to convey through my crea-tions. I try to do things in a personal way, in relation to this. Sometimes I draw inspiration from the cinema, sometimes I look at people on the street. There is a strong correlation between the job of the designer and the actor who takes on different roles each time transforming itself. I like to experience the transformation even in the clothes we design, every transformation is basically a confirmation that we are constantly being born."

I just can't explain myself from where did I get the idea of this constant mixing of different styles, like sport sweatshirts combined with maxi skirts from "romantic" fabrics like lace or gorgette, heels, studs, bomber jackets. However, this is the perfect outfit for today: a Mulberry pear intarsia wool-blend sweater, a pleated georgette maxi skirt from Vince, a pair of Laboutin suede and metal pumps, a Rockstud oversized leather clutch from Valentino, all available @netaporter. To such a combination I would add a Moncler women blue vest.
